About Our Speaker
Dr Hiroshi Imaoka is an assistant chief of department of hepatobiliary and pancreatic oncology at National Cancer Center Hospital East in Japan. He received M.D. degree from Kobe University School of Medicine in 2000. He was a chief of department of gastroenterology at Aichi cancer center hospital from 2011 to 2016, then he moved to National Cancer Center Hospital East. He was appointed an assistant chief of department of hepatobiliary and pancreatic oncology at National Cancer Center Hospital East in 2019.
He specializes in chemotherapy and endoscopic treatment for pancreatic cancer, biliary tract cancer, and liver cancer. He also participates in various clinical trials as an investigator. In addition to being active in medical societies within Japan, he is also a member of international congresses such as ASCO and
ESMO.
