Prof Lorenzen’s research interests include clinical research in medical oncology, response evaluation in solid tumor therapy and multimodality treatment of gastrointestinal cancer. She is head of the gastroesophageal working group of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Internistische Onkologie (AIO).
Dr. Alexander Siebenhüner
Dr Siebenhüner’s research topics are focused on GI oncology, mainly upper GI, hepatobiliary tumors, colorectal cancer, and neuroendocrine tumors (mainly GEP-NET). Besides his clinical skills, he is highly involved in the research field of GI oncology as principal investigator and co-investigator in local and international trials.
